WisBusiness interviewed Bethesda President and CEO Mike
Thirtle earlier this week about Bethesda’s experiences with COVID-19.
“Our staff has been amazing and extremely diligent in
taking care of people,” said Thirtle.
Thirtle noted that COVID-19 fatality rates for people with
disabilities are up to seven times higher than the rest of the population.
Bethesda has been working since early March in its 75 geographical locations to
make sure that people are kept safe.
He also expressed concerns, from a public policy
perspective, about Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) in Wisconsin.
