Leader to oversee finance and accounting functions
(Milwaukee) – Bethesda, a national nonprofit organization
that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, has named Brian Savoie as its new Vice President of Finance.
As a member of the executive leadership team, Savoie is responsible for the
finance and accounting functions within Bethesda.
“Brian adds significant depth and breadth to our
outstanding Finance team and will bring new expertise to our Bethesda 2030
vision, as we aim to expand services for people with intellectual and
developmental disabilities,” said Dave Griebl, Chief Financial Officer for
Savoie most recently served as
Chief Financial Officer for the American Society for Quality (ASQ) in
Milwaukee, where he led the finance, accounting, information technology,
organizational excellence and office services work groups at the 70,000-member
nonprofit professional society. He also held finance leadership positions at VF
Corporation, in Appleton, Wis., Brady Corporation in Milwaukee, and Nike, Inc.
in Beaverton, Ore.

Savoie. “I look forward to working collaboratively with the team, with the goal
of empowering more people we support to achieve independence and inclusion.”
Savoie earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial
engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and his MBA from Carnegie
Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
